Qualified Investor
Foreign nationals who invest the sum of THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS (USD 300,000.00) in real estate property may apply for a Residence Permit under the category of Qualified Investor.
Applicants may also request residence under this immigration category through an investment in securities for the amount of FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS (USD 500,000.00), or by means of a Fixed-Term Deposit in the amount of SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS (USD 750,000.00).
This application may be submitted from abroad and is approved within a period of thirty (30) business days. The investment must be maintained for a minimum term of five (5) years, and it grants permanent residence.
Requirements:
- One (1) certified or cashier’s check in the amount of FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS (USD 5,000.00) made payable to the National Treasury.
- One (1) certified or cashier’s check in the amount of FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS (USD 5,000.00) made payable to the National Immigration Service.
- Original passport with a minimum validity of three (3) months.
- Three (3) passport-size photographs.
- Medical certificate of good health.
- Certification demonstrating ownership of the real estate property, fixed-term deposit, or securities, as applicable.
- Certification issued by the Directorate for Investment Promotion.
- Corporate certificate.
- Personal background declaration form.
- Bank certification accrediting that the funds used for the investment originated from abroad.
Note: All documents originating from abroad must be apostilled.
